The events surrounding the birth of Jesus were far from peaceful and easy. God himself was far from silent. God made huge announcements and ushered in his plan of redemption in some very unexpected ways with some very unexpected people. Those people all had one thing in common - fear. Yet, they were all told the same thing - "do not be afraid." This Christmas, God has the same message for each of us in the middle of our circumstances.
